The class instruction deals with topics of defense and survival skills. It anticipates a scenario where the safety and freedom of your family or group are threatened and offers instruction to better prepare you to deal with, survive, and thrive through any such situations.

This class will provide instruction in avoidance, personal wilderness survival skills and also instruction in defense via the use of controlled violence.

Tactical Survival is collaborative effort between Craig Caudill of Nature Reliance School and Rodney Van Zant of Iron Sight Defense. It is an incredibly packed 3 day weekend of survival, tactical strategies, and more.

Participants will need to be in moderate shape as we will be moving regularly through a wooded environment, while armed and wearing a day pack or ruck.

You will need to be prepared for a 3 day 2 night, camping trip while armed, with the potential for defensive situations.

This class is open to all law abiding, tactically minded Responsibly armed U.S. Citizen civilians as well as military and law-enforcement personnel.

Some Topics covered are: Firearms and Safety Discussion, Tactical Camp Setup and Security, IFAKs, Remote First Aid, Land Navigation, Survival Shelters, Fire, Water procurement and Survival Edibles, Trapping, Camouflage, Patrols and Communications, Setting up a track over watch, Crossing Danger Zones, Small Team Considerations, Bound and Over watch, Tracking, Hand railing trails / terrain features and more.
